2002 Newsletter

'2002' is just about to come to an end. A year of rebuilding for a lot of people since the World Trade Center disaster still on many minds, the thought of a possible war on many others. Our extended poodle family suffered the lose of some wonderful poodle owners, Tom Jenkins, Aleta Pharo, Roberta White, Richard Pharo, and Mary Cummings. To all of their families, we were blessed in just knowing them.

We would like to thank all of you that continued to send used / new kennels that have been donated to poodle rescues & spca. Remember if you have extras please don't through them away, you can simply take them to your local animal shelters as they can always use them. Same with old doggie beds, collars, leashes, brushes, etc. Never just throw them out.

On the show front, we had another good year. In February 'Ash's-Mystical Amity's Meadow' finished her Canadian Championship.

As Spring arrived, 'Macy' becomes 'Am.CH. Jantha's Mystical Just Macy'! Thank you Janet Thayer for another wonderful Toy poodle. In May an offspring of Am/Can.CH. Ash's-Mystical Amity's Mobman (Mario) & Am/Can. CH. Amity's Silhoutte (Simone) 'Josie' became 'Can.CH. Amity's Kiss Of Death' owned by Anne Seppo, Dawn Strumbel, & Karla Wirtz. Congratulations!

As the summer approached, in June 'Monique' became Am.CH. Regency Mystical Lady Monique'. Thank you Helen Tomb-Taylor for this beautiful girl!

In July, 'Ethan' earned his US Championship owner handled by 'Dawn Strumbel. She continued on to add his Canadian Championship in September. Receiving an invitation to the Eukanuba National Specialty for being in the top 20 of Miniature Champions in the US, Dawn & Ethan earned 'Best of Opposite' there in December!!! What a great team they have become. 'Am/Can. CH. Amity's The Wiseguy' (Ethan) is owned by Dawn Strumbel & Anne M. Seppo. He is an off spring of Mario & Simone, litter brother to 'Josie'.

Also in September, 'Meiling' became 'Can.CH. Ash's-Mystical Meiling Mazel. Watch for her out in the US as she works to become on her next title.

'Mona Lisa' became the first of her litter to earn her Championship. 'Ash's-Mystical Mona Lisa Image' is a home-bred Champion following in the foot steps of both her parents Maurice & Mikki. (CH.Starfire's Mystical Maurice & CH.VIP's Mystical Perfect Image') Watch for her brothers in the ring with Shelley Wooldridge & Sharon Svobova. 'Ash's-Mystical Murdoch Images' & 'Starfire's Mystical Russell' (owned by Dr. Sue Boehm).

Also in November, 'Donnie' owned by M.Jane Smythe & Anne M. Seppo become 'Am.CH. Amity's AKA The Last Don'. He is off spring of Mario & Meadow.

As always, we are very proud of all of the handlers involved with our poodles. Thank you Shelley Wooldridge, Sharon Svobova, Dawn Strumbel, Anne Seppo, Karla Wirtz, Yvonne Norton, & Jennifer Dege. Watch for these poodles in the ring for '2003'

Many of you have sent pictures to be added to our 'Extended Family' section of the website, we will get them added as soon as possible. Also, some of you are still not remembering to send in the AVID micro-chip form for your poodle………….PLEASE DO IT TODAY!!

May the new year '2003' bring peace, happiness, and many POODLE kisses to all of you! We close with a picture from our property that we will be hopefully breaking ground on this coming year for our new home.
